Majority disapprove Trump’s economic handling, polls show

A new CNN poll shows that 56% of Americans disapprove of President Donald Trump's handling of the economy, marking the lowest approval during his presidency. Economic issues remain the top concern for voters, with 42% prioritizing it over other topics. In a separate Emerson College poll, 48% of respondents also disapproved of Trump's economic approach, with his overall approval rating at 47%, down 2 points since he took office. The CNN poll shows a slightly lower approval rating of 45%. The polls indicate that Americans believe Trump’s use of presidential power differs significantly from past presidents, with 86% agreeing on this point. Among these respondents, 49% view this as negative, while 37% see it positively.
