Male suspect sought for barn arson near Hamilton

Police are looking for a man who allegedly broke into a barn near Hamilton and set it on fire. The incident occurred on March 6 in Greensville, which is close to Highways 5 and 6 in Flamborough. Responding officers found a fire inside an outbuilding. Hamilton police quickly determined that the fire was set intentionally. The suspect fled the scene, running north through a nearby field. Fortunately, there were no reported injuries from the fire. Police described the suspect as a white male with shaggy hair that was parted in the middle. He was last seen wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, a camouflage poncho, blue jeans, and grey socks.
