Man arrested for allegedly killing brother in Uttar Pradesh

A 24-year-old man was arrested in Maharajganj, Uttar Pradesh, for allegedly killing his elder brother during a fight over money. The incident happened on Monday night in the Shyamdeurwa area. The accused, Kishan Madheshiya, got into a heated argument with his brother, Sandeep Madheshiya. The situation turned violent when Kishan stabbed Sandeep with a knife. According to police, Kishan was drunk at the time. After the incident, their mother contacted the authorities. Police arrested Kishan based on her statement. He has been charged with murder under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita law. Sandeep's body was sent to a government hospital for a post-mortem examination. Legal proceedings are ongoing as the investigation continues.
