Man arrested for blocking McDonald's drive-thru in Peterborough
A 24-year-old man, Lewis John, was found asleep in his car at a McDonald's drive-thru in Peterborough, blocking other customers. Police were called when staff noticed his vehicle was stationary. Officers attempted to wake John, who initially ignored them and later refused a breathalyzer test. They discovered two beer cans in his car, leading to his arrest for failing to provide a breath sample. John was sentenced to 60 hours of unpaid work and received a two-year driving ban after admitting to the charge at Peterborough Magistrates' Court on March 7.
