Man arrested for damaging cars with golf club

A 29-year-old man was arrested for vandalizing cars in Boston’s South End with a golf club. The incident occurred late Sunday night on Perry Street. Witnesses reported seeing Eduardo Montanez hitting parked cars with the club. Neighbors called 911 when they noticed the destruction. One witness, Jazmin Muñoz, said she saw at least ten cars get damaged. Officers arrested Montanez a short distance away, near Union Park. Montanez had an outstanding warrant at the time of his arrest.
