Man arrested for girl's suicide in Belagavi district

Police have arrested a man in Belagavi district for allegedly harassing a minor girl, which led her to end her life. The accused, Siddalinga Pujeri, was reportedly stalking the girl and pressuring her to marry him. The girl was found dead a few days ago. Her parents reported the harassment to the Ghataprabha Police Station. Following their complaint, police took action against Pujeri. He has been arrested and is currently in judicial custody.
