Man arrested for stabbing friend during argument

A man was arrested for allegedly killing his friend during a drunken argument in Belagola, Srirangapatana Taluk. The incident happened on Wednesday night. The victim, 44-year-old Mohan Kumar, was partying with his friend Ravichandra at Ravichandra's house. During the celebration, the two men got into an argument over a minor issue. The fight became violent when Kumar grabbed a knife from the kitchen and threatened Ravichandra. In response, Ravichandra took the knife from Kumar and allegedly stabbed him. After the incident, Ravichandra was heading towards Balamuri when police stopped him for questioning. Officers noticed blood stains on his shirt, which led to further investigation. Ravichandra eventually admitted to the crime during questioning. The KRS police have registered the case and are continuing their investigation.
