Man arrested in Pampanga for crime in Bukidnon

A 51-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday in Mabalacat City, Pampanga, while trying to get a police clearance. The police discovered he was wanted for a crime committed in Bukidnon. According to the Pampanga police, the man’s name was not disclosed. When he applied for the clearance, an online background check revealed a warrant for his arrest. This warrant had been issued by Judge Eldred Dongallo of the Bukidnon Regional Trial Court in July 2022. The man faced charges for syndicated illegal recruitment and violating anti-human trafficking laws. The warrant included a bail amount of P320,000. Following his arrest, he was taken into custody and will be handed over to the authorities in Bukidnon. Pampanga police director Jay Dimaandal emphasized the importance of the police clearance process in identifying individuals with outstanding criminal cases. He reaffirmed the department's commitment to enforcing the law and bringing fugitives to justice.
