Man arrested with loaded ghost gun at Connecticut hospital
A 23-year-old man, Mohamed Hosny, was arrested for bringing a loaded "ghost gun" into Yale-New Haven Hospital on Friday. He was transferred from a mental health facility when hospital security noticed suspicious behavior during a safety check. Security found the unregistered handgun, equipped with a laser and a high-capacity magazine, in the trash after Hosny discarded his clothes. Police stated there was no evidence he intended to harm anyone at the hospital. Hosny faces multiple charges, including carrying a pistol without a permit and possession of an assault weapon. His bond is set at $150,000.
