Man attacks barber over haircut payment in Thiruvananthapuram

A man was arrested for attacking a barber over a haircut payment in Thiruvananthapuram. The incident happened at a salon in Balavan Nagar when the barber, Sadab, asked the attacker to pay Rs 150 for the service. The attacker, identified as 26-year-old Sadab from Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, reacted violently. He used scissors to stab Sadab in the face, chest, shoulder, and back. He also hit him multiple times and stole Rs 1,500 from his pocket before dragging him out of the salon. When Sadab tried to contact the shop owner for help, the attacker escalated the situation. Customers in the salon were threatened, and one person was injured while trying to help Sadab. Police reported that the attacker, known as Rahul, has a long criminal history with 11 previous cases against him. He has been charged with several offenses, including using a weapon to cause harm and robbery. Rahul was placed in judicial custody after appearing in court.
