Officers had a search warrant for the apartment and were monitoring it when they noticed lights on inside. When police entered the apartment around 7 a.m., they found Michael Hoose Sr., along with three other individuals. Hoose Sr. offered the officers cash in an attempt to make them leave. However, police proceeded with their search and discovered about 650 bags of fentanyl weighing around 150 grams. The search also uncovered packaging materials, scales, ammunition, and over $226,000 in cash. Police found several suspected stolen catalytic converters as well. Michael Hoose Sr. faces several charges, including trafficking in fentanyl, bribery, and intimidation of a witness. His son, Michael Hoose Jr., and another individual, Felicia Durphy, were also charged with trafficking fentanyl, while Nicholas Trotta was arrested for having outstanding warrants.
