Man beaten for stalking woman in Belagavi

In Belagavi, a man was beaten by onlookers for harassing a woman on Sunday night. The man, identified as Somanath Ghodse, had been repeatedly bothering the woman, who is a salesgirl at a retail mall. Despite her clear refusals, Ghodse kept pestering her for love. Her relatives tried to warn him, but he did not stop his actions. On the night in question, the woman confronted him after spotting him stalking her near her home. She showed her relatives and neighbors her call logs to prove his harassment. This led to a group of people slapping and beating him. He was only rescued when a group of elders intervened. Police officers from the APMC Police Station later visited the scene of the incident.
