A man from Sarver is facing charges for allegedly breaking into a home in Saxonburg and trying to steal guns. State police filed the charges after the homeowner’s sister, Donna Delancey, caught him in the act. She described the experience as frightening. Delancey was at her sister's house on Knoch Road to water plants while her sister was away. Upon arrival, she found the home in disarray with items strewn about, including guns on the floor. She noticed wet footprints on the stairs, leading her to believe that someone was still inside. Hearing noise from the basement made Delancey nervous, prompting her to flee and call the police. Officers arrived quickly and found Jason Armour outside the home. He was reportedly carrying bags containing guns but dropped them and ran into the woods. Police managed to track him down and arrested him after he attempted to escape. Delancey mentioned that her other sister’s home next door had also been ransacked. Armour has admitted to his actions and is currently being held in Butler County jail, unable to post bail. He faces multiple charges, including burglary.
