Man dies after falling into silo at Melbourne worksite

A man in his 50s has died after falling into a silo at a worksite in Montrose, Melbourne. The accident happened yesterday afternoon, around 4:30 PM. Emergency services were called to the scene on Canterbury Road. A high-angle rescue team, paramedics, police, and firefighters responded quickly. However, the man was pronounced dead after the incident. Authorities have not yet determined how the fall happened. WorkSafe is now investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident. A report will be prepared for the coroner.
