Man dies in road accident after wife's death, Mirganj
A man in Uttar Pradesh died in a road accident while rushing home after hearing about his wife’s death. The accident occurred in the Mirganj area late Monday night. The victim, 28-year-old Sanjay, was riding a motorcycle with his younger brother, Rinku, when an unknown vehicle struck them on National Highway-24. Sanjay died instantly, while Rinku suffered serious injuries and is now being treated in a hospital in Bareilly. Sanjay lived in Ramuapur Raghuveer village and had been working as a laborer in Punjab. He received the terrible news about his wife’s death during childbirth at a hospital in Bahraich. He quickly left for home with Rinku but tragically got into the accident along the way. Police reported that the fatal collision happened when a speeding vehicle hit the motorcycle, throwing both brothers onto the road. Local bystanders called authorities, who took them to the hospital. Sadly, doctors pronounced Sanjay dead on arrival, while Rinku remains in critical condition. Sanjay and Pooja were married six years and had a four-year-old daughter. The family is now planning to hold joint funeral services for both Sanjay and Pooja. Authorities have filed a case against the driver of the unidentified vehicle and are investigating the accident. They are reviewing CCTV footage in hopes of finding the responsible party.
