Man found dead in Palo Alto's Byxbee Park

Palo Alto police are looking into the death of a man found in a park. A passerby discovered the body early on Friday morning at Byxbee Park in the Baylands Nature Preserve. Authorities state they do not suspect foul play or a crime. The passerby called the police around 8 a.m. after seeing the body in a muddy area near the parking lot. Emergency responders confirmed that the man was dead upon their arrival. The identity of the deceased will be released by the Santa Clara County Coroner’s Office in due time. Police are asking anyone with information to contact their 24-hour dispatch center at 650-329-2413.
