Man found unresponsive in Oakland County lake dies at 61

A 61-year-old man from Waterford Township was found unresponsive in Maceday Lake on December 9. Joselito Estonilo Garcia was discovered under a dock after reports of someone yelling for help. Rescue efforts were made, but Garcia was pronounced dead at a local hospital early Tuesday. Authorities suspect drowning as the cause of death, with an autopsy scheduled for Tuesday. The investigation is ongoing, and alcohol consumption is being considered as a possible factor. No other individuals were found in the lake during the search.
