Man intentionally jumped in front of car in Australia
An Australian driver had a shocking experience when a young man jumped in front of her car, seemingly wanting to be hit. The incident occurred late at night and was captured on the woman's dashcam. The man raised his arms just before colliding with the car. Despite her attempts to brake, he flew into the windshield and landed hard on the road. The woman described the event on a Facebook group, saying the man was very apologetic after the shock wore off. Experts found the situation unusual. Dr. Ray Hope, an engineering vice president, noted he had never seen anything like it in 22 years of work. He indicated the car was likely going slower than the dashcam suggested, possibly around 30 km/h. After the collision, bystanders rushed to help and called for emergency services. The driver explained she didn’t see the man before he stepped into the road. Dr. Hope mentioned it was unlikely the driver would face charges, as the young man may be liable for intentionally stepping in front of the vehicle.
