Man killed by multiple vehicles on Garden State Parkway

A 43-year-old man died after being struck by several cars on the Garden State Parkway early Friday morning. The incident occurred near milepost 146.4 in East Orange. Eliyahu Fink, from Suffern, New York, was involved in a single-vehicle crash. Police received reports just before 1 a.m. and found his disabled vehicle in the left lane. Fink had exited his car and was standing in the roadway when an SUV hit him. The force of the impact threw Fink into the northbound lanes, where he was hit by more vehicles. State police reported that he sustained fatal injuries. Fortunately, no other injuries were reported in the incident. The crash is currently under investigation.
