Man shot dead by police on I-75 North
A man died after being shot by police on I-75 in Evendale, Ohio, early Wednesday morning. All northbound lanes of the highway are closed due to the incident. The police shooting happened around 2:45 a.m. Evendale police were responding to a chase that started in Butler County and entered Hamilton County. They discovered that the suspect's vehicle had crashed near Glendale Milford Road and Evendale Drive, but the suspect was not there. An officer from a nearby police department later found the suspect on northbound I-75. Shots were fired at him, and medical help was called. Unfortunately, the man died at the scene. The investigation is ongoing, and it is unclear when the northbound lanes of I-75 will reopen.
