Man strangles wife during quarrel in Gurugram

A man has been arrested for allegedly killing his wife after a fight about going home for the Holi festival. The incident occurred in Bhangrola village, Gurugram. Police say the man, Ankit, strangled his wife Renu with a scarf. He then locked her in their rented room and fled the scene. Renu was found dead on March 7. Ankit is also from Uttar Pradesh. He was arrested on Friday in Ballia, another city in Uttar Pradesh. Police have opened an investigation and are questioning him about the incident.
