Man vandalizes Tesla during New Orleans Mardi Gras parade

A man was filmed repeatedly punching a Tesla during the Mardi Gras parade in New Orleans on March 3. The incident happened while Josh Hazel, the driver of the Tesla, was escorting the Orpheus parade. The video shows the man hitting the car several times. Hazel reported that the man also broke a glass panel on the side of the vehicle. After the incident, Hazel filed a police report and plans to press charges against the attacker. Hazel is also offering a $1,000 reward for information that helps identify the man. He has reached out to the New Orleans Police Department for further assistance. This event comes amid rising cases of vandalism against Tesla vehicles across the United States. Some of these incidents have involved serious damage like arson.
