Manchester United alters plans for Amad Diallo
Manchester United's manager, Ruben Amorim, has decided to change his strategy regarding Amad Diallo. This comes after Chelsea signed one of his top targets, 17-year-old winger Geovany Quenda, for £42 million. Quenda's deal was done secretly and he will join Chelsea in 2026 while continuing to play for Sporting Lisbon. Amorim had previously planned to incorporate Quenda into his team under a 3-4-3 formation. Now that Quenda has chosen Chelsea, Amorim must rethink his options. He may turn to Amad Diallo, who has had a strong season with nine goals and seven assists in 36 games. Amad's performances have impressed, particularly a hat-trick against Southampton. With the recent struggles of right-backs Diogo Dalot and Noussair Mazraoui, Amorim might have to adjust Amad's position on the field. He hopes Amad can return from an ankle injury he sustained in February before the season ends. Amorim believes Amad has potential but still has areas to improve. He is focused on both the current season and the future of the team.
