Manchester United includes 16-year-old Jim Thwaites in first-team training under new coach Ruben Amorim

Manchester United's new coach, Ruben Amorim, held his first training session on Monday, featuring several young players due to the absence of senior team members on international duty. Among them was 16-year-old Jim Thwaites, a promising midfielder. Thwaites has been recognized as a top prospect in the academy, winning the Goal of the Season award at both Under-16 and Under-18 levels last year. He has continued to impress this season, contributing four goals and two assists in nine appearances for the U18s. Another 16-year-old, defender Godwill Kukonki, also participated in the session, marking a significant step in his development. Other academy players included Jaydan Kamason, Jack Kingdon, and Malachi Sharpe, among others.
