Manchester United prioritizes signing striker Liam Delap
Manchester United plans to sign a new striker this summer. They are focusing on improving their attacking lineup, with Ipswich Town player Liam Delap as one of their top targets. Manchester United has recruited Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee in recent years. However, both players have not made a significant impact yet. The club is looking for a more proven centre-forward to help address their scoring issues. Liam Delap is gaining attention after a strong season with Ipswich Town. The 22-year-old joined Ipswich last summer from Manchester City for £20 million. He has scored 10 goals in 28 games in the current Premier League season. Former player Glenn Murray called him "exceptional." While Delap is still developing, he has shown promise that could translate to success at Manchester United. There are concerns, though, about how he might handle the pressure at a big club like United. Interestingly, Manchester City has an option to buy Delap back. This could lead to competition between the two teams if United pursues him seriously. Currently, it seems unlikely that United will sell Hojlund this summer.
