Manchester United targets Bundesliga talent for summer transfers

Manchester United is looking to strengthen its attacking lineup this summer, focusing on talent from the Bundesliga. The team has struggled recently, with players like Rasmus Hojlund and Alejandro Garnacho not performing as expected. The club needs new, effective attackers to improve their chances of competing for European spots next season. Names being considered include Victor Osimhen, Viktor Gyokeres, and Hugo Ekitike. They are also interested in Xavi Simons from RB Leipzig. Simons, 21, has had a successful season so far, scoring eight goals and providing five assists in 25 games, despite a two-month injury absence. His contract runs until 2027, giving Leipzig a strong position in any negotiations. Christian Falk commented on the situation, noting that a substantial offer over €50 million would be required to secure Simons. He mentioned that if the price reached €70 million, Leipzig might be compelled to accept, especially if Simons wants to move to the Premier League. Falk also noted that while Manchester City is interested in Simons, Manchester United has historically been a strong contender for such players. However, United's financial situation could complicate the potential transfer.
