Manchester United targets Victor Osimhen for forward position

However, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has stated that there are currently no serious negotiations for Osimhen to join the club. United fans are eager to see who will lead their attack, especially after forwards Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee struggled in the Premier League. Many names have circulated in the transfer market, with Osimhen being a notable candidate. Despite the interest, Romano emphasized that there are no concrete discussions at this time. Osimhen is currently playing on loan at Galatasaray, showcasing impressive performances since his time in Serie A. His good form has attracted the attention of several clubs, including Chelsea, who were previously seen as front-runners to sign him. However, that deal did not materialize, leading him to Turkey. Romano noted that discussions about a potential swap deal involving Hojlund and Osimhen are also not happening at the moment. He affirmed that while Osimhen is on United's radar, the situation remains unadvanced. Manchester United has struggled with goal-scoring this season, ranked 14th in the Premier League for goals scored. They have scored three or more goals in only six matches, and five of those came against the league's bottom teams. To improve, United likely needs to find a top striker like Osimhen.
