Mangaluru police arrest fugitive associate with drugs

Mangaluru police arrested Abdul Aseer, an associate of fugitive Kali Yogish, after he was on the run for nearly nine years. He was found with 53 grams of MDMA valued at around Rs 5 lakh. Aseer, 32, had previously been involved in multiple criminal cases, including a shootout at a jeweler's shop. He had been granted bail but went into hiding and missed court appearances. The arrest followed a police raid based on specific information about Aseer's drug activities in Mangaluru. A warrant is still pending against him for various offenses.
