Manglam Group invests ₹1,000 crore in Jaipur hospitality
Manglam Group, a top real estate developer in Rajasthan, is entering the Indian hospitality industry, valued at Rs 82,000 crore. The company plans to invest Rs 1,000 crore over the next five years. This move comes after announcing the Westin Jaipur Resort, a luxury hotel with 150 rooms on the Delhi-Jaipur Highway. The group has also begun work on a second project in Jaipur. This new hotel will be part of a larger development in Jagatpura and will be managed in partnership with an international hotel brand. It will feature around 200 rooms, enhancing Manglam’s presence in the luxury hotel market in Jaipur. Manglam Group is targeting high-growth areas in tourism. This includes destination weddings, leisure travel, and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions). The demand for wedding venues in Rajasthan is high, with the industry growing rapidly. Amrita Gupta, a director at Manglam Group, stated that their investment aims to reshape Rajasthan's tourism. They plan to deliver luxury experiences that meet rising consumer expectations. The group is also looking at potential hospitality projects in other regions of Rajasthan and Goa. Jaipur is well-known for its stunning palaces and forts, drawing couples worldwide for weddings. Manglam Group’s focus is on developing various luxury properties to boost Rajasthan's appeal as a top destination for tourism and corporate travel.
