The film features bold themes and graphic intimacy, marking a shift in Hindi cinema towards more mature storytelling. Bajpayee's character engages in multiple sexual relationships, including affairs with colleagues, which are depicted in explicit scenes. The film explores his morally ambiguous personality, contrasting with traditional film heroes. Despite being shy, Bajpayee agreed to perform nude scenes after director Kanu Behl's persuasion.
