Mapua remains undefeated in NCAA men's volleyball tournament

Mapua University continued its strong performance in the NCAA Season 100 men's volleyball tournament by defeating Jose Rizal University (JRU) on Friday. The match ended with scores of 25-22, 25-15, 24-26, and 25-21, keeping Mapua undefeated with six straight wins. Key players Arjay Ramos and Barbie San Andres each scored 23 points in the game. Ramos was recognized for his outstanding play, contributing 18 attacks, three service aces, and two blocks, along with 11 excellent digs and seven receptions. San Andres's performance included 21 attacks and two aces, and he also made 12 excellent digs. Marlowe Jamisola added 12 points for Mapua, while Juancho Barba was instrumental with 21 excellent sets and two points. For JRU, Jake Fernandez led the team with 17 points from 14 attacks and three blocks. Bryle Alipan supported with 10 points, but JRU remains winless after six games. Mapua's next match is scheduled for March 29 against San Beda University. JRU will face Arellano next Friday.
