Marcia Gay Harden joins "Murder in a Small Town."
Marcia Gay Harden has been added to the cast of Season 2 of “Murder in a Small Town.” She will play Mayor Christie Holman, a character described as beloved yet politically savvy. The mayor is a practicing doctor who cares deeply for her community but often puts her personal interests first. Harden's role will create challenges for the show's main characters, Karl and Cassandra. She will use community issues to further her own agenda. Harden is known for her roles in various shows and films, including “So Help Me Todd” and “The Morning Show.” The second season of “Murder in a Small Town” is currently being filmed in British Columbia. The series, adapted from the Karl Alberg books by L.R. Wright, focuses on crime investigations in the town of Gibsons. In Season 2, Karl will face an increased workload and new challenges as he investigates more crimes. At the same time, Cassandra's career is taking her in new directions. The couple will have to balance their personal lives with their commitments to the community.
