President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. highlighted the need for a coordinated approach from the government to meet the needs of Filipinos. He spoke about this during the opening of a job fair called ‘Trabaho at Serbisyong Pangkalusugan sa Bagong Pilipinas’ in Dasmariñas, Cavite. In his speech, Marcos explained that the job fair is a key element of the government’s strategy to assist its citizens. He acknowledged that problems faced by the public cannot be solved by just one department. Therefore, the government aims to bring all its resources together under what he calls a "whole-of-government" approach. The job fair featured around 3,600 job openings from 41 employers, including 38 local companies and three from overseas. It also provided employment screening and advisory services through various government agencies. Additionally, the Department of Health was there to offer medical services, including screenings, consultations, and vaccinations for attendees. Marcos assured the public that the government would continue to support those in need.
