Marj worked at the Institute of Living and Hartford Hospital. She also led efforts to establish a behavioral health wing at Manchester Hospital in 1972. Later on, she served the Town of Coventry, setting a record for years of service. She was predeceased by her husband, David Roach, in 1990, and her siblings. Marj is survived by her daughter, Colleen Liebre, her son-in-law, Ernest Liebre from Florida, and her granddaughter, Sarah Riddick, along with her husband, Jonathan Riddick of Coventry. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and a large number of loyal friends and colleagues. Marj was known for her straightforward approach to social issues and made a lasting impact on the community.
