Martha's Kitchen relocates to larger venue in Shipton Abbott
Sally Bretton, known for her role as Martha Lloyd in the BBC detective series "Beyond Paradise," has shared exciting news about her character's development in the upcoming third season. The show is set to return on March 31. In this new season, Martha’s popular 10 Mile Kitchen will move to a brand new location in the fictional town of Shipton Abbott. Bretton explained that the new venue is in the heart of the town and offers beautiful views of the harbor. She described it as picturesque with a more refined, restaurant-like vibe compared to the previous cafe. Bretton emphasized that the changes reflect Martha's business growth. Along with her, other main characters will return, including DI Humphrey Goodman and DS Esther Williams. The first episode promises tension, as a body is discovered in a river, forcing the team to collaborate with a rival police force. Additionally, Kris Marshall, who portrays Martha's love interest, wanted to perform his own stunts during filming. He was eager to skydive, but producers advised against it due to insurance issues. Marshall humorously noted that they might have allowed it on the last day of filming. Fans can look forward to the thrilling new season of "Beyond Paradise" on BBC1 and iPlayer starting March 31.
