Marvel resurrects Jean Grey's sister, Sara Grey

Marvel is bringing back a character from Jean Grey's past in the X-Men comics. Jean Grey, a well-known mutant, has faced many challenges and transformations over the years, including her iconic rebirth as the Phoenix. In a storyline from the 1980s, Jean sacrificed herself to save her teammates and was exposed to cosmic radiation, becoming the powerful Phoenix. However, her sister, Sara Grey, died years ago in the comics and has not been seen since 1994. Now, in an upcoming arc of the Phoenix series, Sara will make her return. Writer Stephanie Phillips noted that Jean's journey often revolves around resurrection, making Sara's return a personal challenge for her. Jean will have to confront her past while juggling her responsibilities as the Phoenix. Sara was first introduced in X-Men #136 and reappeared in X-Factor #12 as a supporter of mutant rights. Sadly, she became a victim in later storylines. The new issues will explore her resurrection and the impact it has on Jean Grey's life. The first of Sara's return will happen in Phoenix #11, slated for release on May 14, while the story of her resurrection will be told in Phoenix #12, coming out on June 11. Fans are eager to see how this new twist will affect the X-Men universe.
