Marvel showcases X-Men TTRPG expansion in live event

Marvel is launching a special event for its Marvel Multiverse Role-Playing Game. Tonight, March 21, at 7 PM ET, the event will feature an actual play session showcasing the new X-Men Expansion. This X-Men Expansion was released late last year and includes popular characters like Angel, Domino, and Gambit. To highlight this new content, Marvel is partnering with The Glass Cannon Network. They will host a three-hour live show filled with comedy and role-playing. The show will be streamed on Marvel's YouTube channel. It will feature familiar faces from The Glass Cannon Network, including Game Master Troy Lavalee and players such as Skid Maher and Joe O’Brien. They will be playing iconic characters like Old Man Logan and Deadpool. For those who miss the live event, a replay will be available. This performance aims to demonstrate the game's new mechanics, focusing on the X-Men content. Additionally, Marvel has recently released a Spider-Verse Expansion. This expansion adds new characters and gameplay features, including a Symbiote mechanic. Another Avengers Expansion is planned for release in September. Each expansion brings new heroes, villains, and gameplay content, consisting of 250-300 pages of material. Players can find the Core Rulebook and both expansions in local game shops and online. The Marvel Multiverse RPG is also available on popular virtual tabletop platforms.
