Mary Agnes Lutz, 95, passed away on March 2, 2025, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was born on May 19, 1929, in Paris, Arkansas. Mary was married to Herman Lutz Jr., who has preceded her in death, along with their son Richard. Mary graduated from St. Scholastica Academy in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Throughout her life, she and Herman moved several times to places like Illinois, Wisconsin, Florida, and New Mexico to support their growing family. They made many close friends along the way. She is survived by her siblings, children, and a large extended family. Her children include Herman III, Fred, Tom, Mike, Dan, David, Don, Dennis, Stephen, Nancy, Rose Marie, Gloria, Marian, and Helen. Mary also leaves behind many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who carry her love forward. A Rosary and visitation will take place on March 27, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. at FRENCH – Lomas. The Funeral Mass is set for March 28, 2025, at Our Lady of the Annunciation Catholic Church in Albuquerque, starting at 10:00 a.m. Both services will be livestreamed. In remembrance of Mary, donations can be made to St. Scholastica Monastery in Fort Smith or to a local homeless shelter or food bank. Her legacy of kindness will continue through all the lives she touched.
