The estate of late TV star Mary Tyler Moore in Connecticut has found a buyer after a long time on the market. Her husband, Dr. S. Robert Levine, is nearing a deal for their Georgian Colonial home in Greenwich, which is large and historic. The mansion was listed for $21.9 million in September 2023 but faced several price cuts over the year. In April, the price dropped to $18.9 million, and in July it fell again to $16.9 million. It finally went under contract last month. Levine and Moore bought the estate in 2006 for $9 million and renovated it to reflect their tastes. The property is 13,825 square feet and sits on 7.37 acres. It features five bedrooms, nine bathrooms, a glass conservatory, a gym, and a large pool. Additionally, there is a separate apartment above the garage. Levine believes the home shares their vision of warmth and openness, filled with natural light. The selling of the house comes amid a real estate market where the average home price in the area is around $2 million. The property was listed by Joseph F. Barbieri of Sotheby’s International Realty. Details about the new owner and the final sale price have not yet been released.
