Masaba Gupta launches fine jewellery collection in Chennai

Masaba Gupta has launched her new fine jewellery collection in Chennai. The collection is called Identity Crisis and is a collaboration with Amrapali Jewels. It features 46 unique pieces made from 18-carat gold and precious gemstones. Masaba first entered the jewellery design world in 2018. Since then, she has experienced significant changes, including the pandemic and becoming a mother last year. These events influenced her design process for this new collection. The collection includes earrings, necklaces, and bracelets, each with a distinct design that reflects Masaba's style. Key materials used are yellow sapphire, rubies, and aquamarine. Notably, the Trinket Hoarder necklace has gained attention for its unique use of multiple colors and motifs. Masaba’s designs often include symbols that relate back to her clothing collections. She mentions features like a palm and a camera, which have personal significance. The collection reflects her artistic journey and commitment to innovation in design. The Identity Crisis collection is currently on display at Evoluzione in Chennai and will be available until March 21.
