Mason Mount rejoins Manchester United's matchday squad

Mason Mount has shared an encouraging message with his Manchester United teammate, Harry Amass, after returning to the matchday squad. Mount was on the bench during United's recent 3-0 victory against Leicester City. He had been sidelined for almost three months due to an injury. The last time Mount played was on December 12 in a match against Manchester City. This season, he has only appeared in 12 games. He hopes to contribute more as the season comes to an end. On the other hand, Amass made his Premier League debut in the same game, coming on for Alejandro Garnacho. The 18-year-old expressed his excitement on Instagram, calling it an "amazing feeling" to play for such a big club. Mount congratulated Amass in two ways. He left a comment on Amass' post saying, "Day to remember, congrats brother." Mount also shared Amass' post on his own Instagram story, adding, "Proud of you brother," along with a heart emoji. Both players are looking forward to getting more playing time when Manchester United resumes their season after the international break. The team will next face Nottingham Forest on April 1.
