Matt Gaetz, the former congressman from Florida, has started selling personalized video messages on Cameo for $250 each, quickly increasing the price to over $500. This move follows his recent withdrawal from a nomination for U.S. Attorney General. In a podcast interview, Gaetz stated he does not plan to return to Congress, saying, “eight years is enough.” He resigned earlier this month amid an ongoing House Ethics investigation into alleged misconduct. Gaetz's transition to Cameo is similar to former congressman George Santos, who also faced an Ethics probe and later found success on the platform. Santos praised Gaetz's recent nomination as "phenomenal."
