Matt Maltese releases single and announces 2025 tour

Matt Maltese has released a new single called "Pined For You My Whole Life." This song is part of his upcoming sixth album titled "Hers," which will be out on May 16. The single features heartfelt lyrics where Maltese expresses a deep, romantic yearning for a partner. He describes this track as one of his most emotional, influenced by Motown and soul music. "Maltese shared that creating this song was a joy and that it represents a long-standing love. He explained that the album explores the complexities and beautiful moments of a deeper relationship. The songwriting process felt intensive, like crafting an important email," he added. This album will include other tracks like "Anytime, Anyplace, Anyhow" and "Always Some MF." Maltese mentioned that this album is his most personal work, combining heartfelt themes with a unique musical style. In addition to his single release, Maltese announced a 2025 tour. The tour will take him across the US, Europe, and the UK. Fans can expect to see him perform in cities like Nashville, Atlanta, London, and Paris. Maltese has also launched his own indie label called Last Recordings On Earth. He signed the artist Searows and released a covers album last year. Additionally, he debuted his theatre songwriting skills with original music for a recent Royal Shakespeare Company production.
