Mattel apologizes for packaging error linking dolls to adult website

dailystar.co.uk

Toy maker Mattel has apologized for a packaging error on its Wicked dolls. The dolls, based on a popular film, mistakenly included a web address for a pornographic site instead of the official movie website. The company stated it was aware of the misprint and expressed regret. Mattel is advising parents that the incorrect website is not suitable for children and suggested discarding or covering the link on the packaging. The dolls were released ahead of the film's premiere on November 22. A second part of the film is scheduled for release in November 2025.
