Mattel has apologized for a packaging error on its Wicked dolls that directed consumers to a pornographic website instead of the official movie site. The mistake was discovered over the weekend by social media users. The dolls, featuring characters from the upcoming film Wicked, were meant to link to wickedmovie.com but instead linked to wicked.com, which contains explicit content. In response, Mattel stated it is taking immediate action to address the issue and advised parents to discard the misprinted packaging. The company emphasized that the incorrect website is not suitable for children.
