Mbappe prioritizes current matches over potential PSG showdown
Kylian Mbappe recently shared his thoughts about a possible matchup between Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in the UEFA Champions League semifinals. Mbappe left PSG last summer and now faces the chance to return to the team where he played for eight years. The Champions League is currently in the quarterfinal stage. Real Madrid will face Arsenal, while PSG is set to play Aston Villa. If both teams win, they would meet in the semifinals, bringing Mbappe back to the Parc des Princes. In an interview with Le Parisien, Mbappe emphasized the importance of focusing on the present rather than looking ahead. He warned against making assumptions about the tournament. “The worst mistake you could make would be thinking about that,” he stated. He recalled how many expected a PSG-Real Madrid final last year, which did not happen. Mbappe stressed that his focus is solely on Arsenal and the upcoming matches. He believes Real Madrid has a chance to achieve great things this season, and added that speculation should be left to fans, while the players concentrate on their performance.
