Measles exposure warning in Swift Current, Saskatchewan
cbc.ca —
The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) has confirmed a measles case in Swift Current. They are warning anyone who visited Cypress Regional Hospital from March 7 to 10 or the E.I. Wood Building on March 6 to watch for symptoms. Symptoms include fever, cough, runny nose, and a rash. The SHA advises those who may have been exposed to contact HealthLine811 or a healthcare provider if they experience symptoms. Measles is highly contagious and can spread through contaminated surfaces or air. In 2024, Saskatchewan reported only one case, following four years without any.
