MeitY hosting Nano Electronics Conference in Bengaluru March 27

The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) will host the Nano Electronics Roadshow and Conference in Bengaluru on 27 March 2025. The event will take place at the National Science Seminar Complex, IISc Bengaluru. This conference aims to bring together important players from government, industry, academia, and the startup community. The focus will be on fostering innovation in India's semiconductor sector. Participants will discuss advancements in areas like quantum technology, artificial intelligence, and indigenous nanoelectronics. S. Krishnan, the Secretary of MeitY, will be the Chief Guest, along with other key speakers. One major highlight of the event will be the involvement of startups and venture capital firms. Krishnan mentioned that the roadshow is crucial for India's goal of semiconductor self-sufficiency. The event will showcase approximately 50 technology demonstrations and feature 25 deep-tech startups in nanoelectronics. Additionally, 25 venture capital firms and 25 industries will be in attendance. This conference offers electronics startups a chance to showcase their innovations and potentially secure funding. It supports India's vision of self-reliance in semiconductor manufacturing and innovation, promoting sustainable growth in the technology sector.
