Melbourne teenager charged with murder after stabbing
An 18-year-old man has been charged with murder after a stabbing incident in Melbourne last week. The police report that the incident took place on Friday, March 14, around 8:30 PM, near Society Avenue in Lyndhurst. Emergency services responded to the scene and found 24-year-old Timothy Leek from Clyde suffering from serious stab wounds. Sadly, he later died from his injuries. Authorities arrested two individuals, including the 18-year-old suspect and a 17-year-old boy, in Doveton shortly after the incident. The older suspect from Narre Warren is now facing murder charges. He is scheduled to appear in Melbourne Magistrates' Court today. The 17-year-old was released, but police continue to investigate.
