Memorial services scheduled for Rep. Raúl Grijalva in Tucson

The family of the late U.S. Representative Raúl Grijalva has shared details about his memorial services in Tucson. Grijalva, who served Arizona for many years, passed away last week at the age of 77. He was well-known in both local and national politics as a leader in the Democratic Party. The main funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, March 26, at 10 a.m. at St. Augustine Cathedral, located at 192 S. Stone Ave. Following the Mass, there will be a "celebration of life" event at the El Casino Ballroom from 2 to 6 p.m. Earlier on Tuesday, a rosary service is scheduled from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Grijalva's daughter, Adelita Grijalva, expressed gratitude for the support their family has received since his passing. Instead of flowers, the family encourages donations to a scholarship fund established in his name.
